VIA Travel in Denmark, part of the VIA Travel Group, the largest
Scandinavian travel management company, has entered an agreement with
SkyGate International on VIA Travel’s new front-end solution, Newport.
VIA Travel has taken a major leap into the future, and will be able to
set new standards for quality and customer service.
VIA Travel is an ambitious travel management company, renowned for
its’ customer service. On account of its high quality and low prices,
the company has grown substantially above industry average in later
years. With its new platform, VIA Travel will have an even stronger

Front-office employees in VIA Travel will now be able to access updated
and integrated customer information, and the customer will have a
uniform experience regardless of booking channel. SkyGate automates and
optimises processes in the front-office operation, leading to improved
productivity and a more customer-oriented workflow. That ensures a high
level of quality and minimizes errors when servicing customers. In
addition, SkyGate enables front office employees to simultaneous search
low-cost carriers and GDS systems. With this feature, VIA Travel will be
able to better and faster furnish the increased demands from businesses
to fly low-cost carriers.
