Booking Form (PNR)
The Booking Form (see
example below) contains all information relevant to a customers travel and is
generated for each reservation made by the user. Beyond information about the
reservation, the Booking Form contains information to support the agent in
making the booking, ranging from customer information, booking information
relevant to the booking being made (e.g. flight policy when booking a flight)
and destination information, relevant to the travellers destination.
In addition, real-time
quality control takes place whilst the reservation is being made and the booking
form contains a list of all queue tasks related to the booking form.
The Booking Form consists of
different sections, whose content is displayed based on user selection or the
context of the booking process. In the example above containing an PNR from Amadeus,
information about the customer - general information, contract information for
total pricing and "front office" information relating to contracts,
CMP numbers, forms of payment are listed in the left frame.
Below the Amadeus host window all queue tasks related to the booking are listed
and will be available in the team operations display for follow up.
Traveller related information can be displayed by simply clicking on the traveller in the left frame, in which case the customer (account) information will be replaced by traveller specific information - including preferences, frequent flyer information, meal, seating, hotel and car information, forms of payment etc.
