how customers are performing in relation to forecasts or automatic

contractual levels with a provider. At the same time the agents at the
front have up to the minute information about policy, preferred vendors or
remaining spend for a corporation. Newport
supports the rapidly emerging multi-channel environment where travel
agencies no longer rely solely on the GDS for reservations, but
increasingly need to integrate low cost carrier bookings, airline direct
bookings, hotel bookings etc. made outside the GDS's. Cross-channel
bookings are managed centrally within Newport - the so called super-PNR. The
